<p>Round 4 Kindness</p><p><br></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);">Jewel who wrote this song was living in her van and shoplifting at the age of 18 when she was about to steal a dress she looked at her hands and thought she can control them, no matter how you work with your hands your dignity is up to you.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);">The part of the song that states *Only kindness matters* was inspired by a doctor who treated her for a kidney infection when she had no medical insurance and hospital turned her away.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);">It is a very inspiring song especially since it is written by someone who experienced some state of poverty.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);">Kindness goes a long way and teaches us to pay it forward when good is done unto us.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);">I sang this song once before in 2014 for Lic to Choose hosted by Tony Round 2 The eyes of a child</span></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);">At the time i had just requested for a Foster parents permit and was about to join a 1 month class...it took me longer to obtain the permit as i did not speak the language and had to return to language school, BUT in April 2016 or little 22 month old joy moved in with us. We had many problems with her family so horrible stress that many said they would have returned her to the Orphanage but we were committed.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);"> This year she will be 7 years old...... each year for her birthday she pays it forward by not wanting birthday presents because she says she has so much that we give her, but donations for a charity of her choice.
