<p>Round 1 Travelling to ALASKA. </p><p>Well i spent the summer of 1995 in Alaska working very hard on a cruise ship visiting the various ports and doing some fun activities on my little time off like whale watching in Juneau, bicycling in Skagway to the gold rush camp, wondering around the totem poles of Sitka, strolling the creeks of Ketchikan and watching the salmon swim freely, relaxing at the Hubbard Glacier and this song was a hit during that summer...... All i wanna do is have some fun as work days were really hard all crew needed some fun time after work and there were crew parties below deck in the crew bar.</p><p> Though this song is about sitting in a bar in LA we had actually just left LA. ,San Francisco, Cabo san Lucas and Ensenada making Vancouver our home port for the whole summer. Not without the excitement of joining the ship in France and crossing the Atlantic in a really bad storm we thought we would sink....it was that scary and even me getting to France was an adventure in itself. </p><p>I went to spend the Easter in North Norway and missed my flight to England.... so my then boyfriend drove me all the way to France, took about 3 days but he got me there at the exact time he said he would! </p><p><br></p><p><img src="https://singsnap.imgix.net/message-board/threads/2MIN/f2440c4547_YLAB_media.png?w=700"></p>
